MODEL shows male and female models at work on TV commercials, fashion shows, magazine covers, and advertising for a variety of products, including designer collections, fur coats, sports clothes and automobiles. The models are seen at work with photographers whose techniques illustrate different styles of fashion and product photography. The business aspect of running an agency is also shown: interviewing prospective models, career counseling, arranging portfolios, talking with clients, and planning trips. The film presents a view of the intersections of fashion, business, advertising, photography, television and fantasy.

Five people, who invested in the stock market, take part in a mysterious stock meeting. There, they learn about life, love, and friendships through investing in stocks.

Riku Tsuneta works as rookie AD at a TV station. He is assigned to the “unconfirmed material center” where they arrange lots of program materials. These program materials were found at the TV station when it moved locations. He works with Director Saori Nikaido and Producer Satoru Sayama. Riku is disappointed that he is working there, but he spends his days arranging VTR. One day, he finds recorded material showing a supernatural phenomenon.

A down-on-his-luck stock broker becomes homeless and takes refuge in front of an office building where a famous print model works. After he heroically rescues her from a robbery attempt one night, she takes him home as an act of gratitude

Inspired by Lovecraft's short story, Pickman's Model is about a morbid painter named Richard Upton Pickman, who created from his fiendish brush "unbelievable loathsomeness and moral foetor." William Thurber, a student of occult art and author, becomes obsessed with Pickman and pursues him learning more and more about the source of his art until it finally consumes him.

July, 1925. Thurber Phillips, an art collector, is invited by his favorite painter, the elusive and mysterious Richard Upton Pickman, to visit his home, a sinister place where his friend's macabre paintings seem to threaten him from the walls in shadows.
